About Us

How We Started:

Sarah started Play Cafe in 2015 for families to connect and play. We have watched countless families grow. Covid-19 has changed how we operate and we are so happy with the "pivot" we did in order to stay around.

How It's Going:

Sarah and Sonja partnered to bring the Peterborough community Lavender and Play Boutique & Studio. By merging our businesses together (including our doula business), we can provide great support for families. We have a beautiful toy boutique where we also have space to offer postpartum doula services, childbirth education, programs for parents & children, sleep coaching, and so much more. Our space continues to evolve as we expand our team into a family wellness collective.  Check out our services and classes.
